The Power of Ani Ma’amin to Shift Beliefs

Most of us have heard the song called“Ani Ma’amin” which speaks about having perfect faith in the coming of Mashiach.  But depending on your background, some of you also know that the introduction to all of RAMBAM’s (Maimonides) 13 Principles of Faith begin with the following Ani Ma’amin Be’emunah Shelema – אני מאמין באמונה שלמה, which means I believe with “complete (or perfect) faith”. For those of you with Artscroll Siddurs, all 13 are listed a few pages after the morning Shaharit prayers.

What is not known, however, is that these specific words (in Hebrew) have extraordinary power to shift things in our thinking, in our energy and in our lives.  The process of saying this already well know phrase as effectively an affirmation statement actually shifts your energy.

For those unfamiliar with the term, an”affirmation statement” is a statement to help shift our consciousness – primarily our subconscious – which generates approximately 95% of our thoughts. As our thoughts, and particularly our inner thoughts create our reality, these statements can help shift our consciousness.  Two important factors are necessary to explain. First – healing and shifting consciousness is both a multifaceted and an  incremental process, where we grow step by step.  Nonetheless, this simple technique repeated regularly can move us along these steps easily.

Second –  we need to make sure we are asking Hashem to help shift our consci0usnes to what He wants. As I told one of my weekly healing groups — which brought a lot of laughs —  if you are trying to manifest a Ferrari, so you can do things that are probably not on Hashem’s Top 10 list for you to do, you likely aren’t going to get much Divine help.  But if you use this technique to help fix challenging character traits — which also have the effect of blocking abundance, happiness, and meaning in our lives — you will get lots of help.
So, Lets try it
Repeat Each 3Times
We repeat 3 times to maximize the effect of 1) Thought 2) Speech and 3) Action

Can you explain something to me?

What is wrong with a Ferrari? Or great technology for that matter.

I see that some consider it ‘gashmius’ but let’s get real:

Solomon, who the Bible called the wisest had plenty of fine vehicles (or horses) and technology.

Are other Jews such paupers compared to the ‘king’ that enjoying some level of quality material goods is considered such a no no?

As my understanding, after the temple fell, all the wisdom books were looted.

That is probably part of the reason why places like Italy now produce such fine auto technology.

    It looks fun!

I’d love to race cars in the desert.

I don’t see how this would interfere with the top 10 list (10 commandments).

Also, without the type of superior consumer products and technology how is Israel going to be independent?

The lure is powerful so can’t this be transformed into holiness too?

I mean Solomon had a magic carpet!

That was probably some nuclear style technology attached to a carpet in some sort of hi tech device.

Sounds like a lot of fun and a great way to spend the day.
